TCSS+ empowers transition teams to strengthen IEP quality and achieve better outcomes for students. The program involves structured training and support, built to respond to your district needs and reality.

Learning takes place at your pace and reality, as a team and individually. Coursework is designed to reflect your district’s unique learning needs and priorities with a focus on supporting data-informed decision-making.

Team-driven action planning focused on meaningful improvement
District teams identify a specific transition-planning goal and work together to implement practical solutions. With every team member contributing, districts will build tools, resources, and staff engagement strategies that we continuously assess for impact.
6 weeks of doing
Support that extends beyond training
Once your team achieves its initial goal, your team facilitator receives ongoing coaching and support to sustain momentum, address new challenges, and embed effective practices across the district.

Continuous research
Research that advances the field
Participation includes data collection through two brief student surveys, team feedback, and ongoing evaluation of transition-focused IEP quality.
Findings will help identify effective practices and translate them into practical guidance that can support educators and district leaders nationwide.
Funding available
Funding is available to help make participation practical and implementation sustainable.
Teams: $500 to spend on resources, materials, assessments and other supplies during training
Team Facilitators: $200 to support additional work associated with research & coordinating data collection
Case Managers: $50 gift card for completed research surveys (max. $100)
Students: $50 gift card for completed research surveys (max. $100)
