Dedicated to transition
planning that improves lives
TCSS+ is led by researchers and practitioners who have spent their careers working at the intersection of special education, transition planning, and educator professional development. We bring deep expertise in evidence-based transition practices, IEP quality improvement, coaching models, and program evaluation.
But just as importantly, we understand the realities of schools. Members of our team have worked directly with districts, supported transition educators, and collaborated with families and students navigating the move from high school to adult life.
Our team combines research rigor with practical experience. Our work is grounded in adult learning principles, implementation science, and measurable student outcomes. We are committed to ensuring that TCSS+ is feasible within diverse school contexts.
We approach this project not as outside researchers, but as partners. We listen to educator feedback, refine the model collaboratively, and provide structured coaching and support throughout participation.
